Happy Birthday LUKE

On Saturday we celebrated Luke's 3rd birthday. It was a hot Florida day at the park. It was fun to see all our friends and celebrate with some Blues Clues birthday cake. YUMMY!

Parker Piling Pillows

Parker loves to take all the pillows off the couch and any he can find in the house. Then he piles them on the floor to make a mountain to jump on. Sometimes he pretends its a castle his imagination runs wild.. this is one of his favorite things to do. He's very proud of his creation.

MIMI Pants

On Saturday, we went fabric shopping so MIMI (Scott's mom) could make Brooke and Parker some new outfits for school. Including these pants aren't they so cute? I just love them. I love Brooke's modeling pose too. Thanks Mimi for all your hard work and Neely for your fun pant pattern.. can't wait to see how the rest come out. Here is another cute picture of Brooke and Lucky .. she adores him. Every night he sleeps with her in bed until we go to bed. She is our animal lover.

Our 1st Day of Preschool!

Brooke and Parker started preschool.. YEAH! They go to a small Presbyterian church program right down the street from us. This year they are going twice a week Thursday and Friday. Wow what am I going to do with myself to have two mornings.. I'm so excited! Their teacher is from Scott land and seems to be very organized and a little harder than our sweet Mrs. Kris last year. But I do think they are going to learn... so many new toys to explore. Parker is extremely excited about her train sets and Brooke the dress up clothes. What fun to be in preschool! I caught some cute shots of them before they were off to school.

When we got to school Brooke went right over to the pinkish purple play dough. Parker went right to the cars, trucks and trains. No tears this year.. they were so ready for school to start. Its going to be a fun new school year.. I just can't wait to see what they learn.

New Hair Cut

Daddy came into town overnight and brought the kids presents .. Parker's was a blue space shuttle lollipop. He got it after he got his sharp new haircut! Doesn't he look cute.. I just think there is nothing cuter than when he gets a haircut .. I just want to eat him he's so cute.
Brooke got a cute Dora hat plus Parker got a space shuttle bath toy. Thanks Daddy for our gifts .. we can't wait to see you again in a week.

Parker woke up this morning HUNGARY. I came downstairs and this how I found him. He wanted to eat all of this for breakfast. He had pulled it out all by himself..He sure is our growing boy that loves his food!

Yes, it was a night full of singing. We were waiting for our cookies that we made to cool off. They were ready for some video action .. which rarely happens... they wanted to sing for the camera tonight. Can you tell who might be a little more dominate?

Hi Daddy from our Bikes

We got these bikes .. yes at Christmas .. Brooke finally is able to reach the pedals. Parker not yet but enjoys using his feet. We miss you Daddy and can't wait for you to come tomorrow even if it's just for less than 24 hours!

Happy Birthday DANA!!

On Thursday, we went to Dana's beach condo in St. Augustine to celebrate her birthday. The kids were so excited to see their cousins and Aunt Dana! This picture was taken before watching a movie together. They are a cute group of kids! On the rainy Thursday night we ordered in for dinner. Dana and I stayed up until 2am talking and solving life's problems we are so good at that! I just love our talks about God and how he's moving in our lives. I just know it feeds our souls so much. It's actually what I needed after being with the kids all week by myself. Friday was Dana's actually birthday. I think Brooke was a little too excited and woke me up at 4am ready to go and had a REALLY hard time going back to sleep with me. So, after a couple cups of coffee and Ashley getting there we headed to the beach. It started out with great weather .. then the clouds came in but it was nice not to have full sun and heat. Ashley, Dana, all the kids (6) and I went to Beachcomber restaurant for a birthday lunch. That is when the rain came down but we were inside. I had.. I think.. the best fish tacos ever! So yummy! We made it through the lunch and the kids were pretty good. Later another friend of ours came Melissa... so the four of us sat on Dana's porch to catch up on life and enjoyed the sound of rain and cool sea breeze. It was a nice day with friends! Dana you are so loved .. I'm so glad I got to share your special day with you. We came back late today and the kids were wiped from all the playing. They sure did have fun!
Dana, I love you and thank God for you to be my sister- in- law, and my best friend! Your words inspire me so much and bring clearly on how God is working. I just don't know what I would do without you in my life! Being sisters with you is such a blessing our bond of love we share is now and forever! Happy birthday girl .. love you! A Special Pancake Breakfast

This old Spanish sugar mill has been turned into one of the BEST places for pancakes. It is nestled in a state park about 30mins from Orlando. It was a fun adventure .. we picked up my mom, Mimi and Gigi. It sits near beautiful cold natural springs where the kids had a chance to get in.. the water was COLD.

So, one of the great things about this restaurant is that you make your own pancakes in front of you. You can pick from choices of different toppings and they bring you a pitcher of badder .. a then away you go making your own patch of pancake. By the way one of the reason we did this is because Parker LOVES pancakes.. he can't get enough you ask him what he wants for dinner or lunch every time he will say pancakes. This place was perfect for him. The only thing I would do differently is not go on a Saturday it was packed... the wait time was 2hours but the food was worth the wait.

Our Super Hero

This picture cracks me up!! Our friend Karen dropped off some clothes for Parker today and in the bunch we found this costume. We told Parker to give us his best super hero face and this is what he came up with! HAHA .. It looks like a scared super hero to me!! Not sure if he could fight off the bad guys :)

We took lunch to Daddy at work. If you didn't know.. Scott works for the Golf Channel. Scott snucked us into the studio where they film all the shows .. This is a picture of Brooke and Parker at the Golf Central desk .. you see on TV. I love Brooke's sunglasses.. a true movie star in the making! Here are a few other pictures we took.. Scott looks like a natural too.. maybe being on TV is his calling? Isn't he such a cutie? I'm a lucky women!
