When Mama's gone...

So, I went away this last weekend for a women's retreat. It was so great to have a break from Mama life. Scott was left to watch the kids... where the fun never stops. Scott feed them spaghetti O's and they decided it would be fun to paint their bodies with their food.. I found these pictures when I got home and had to share them with you. No my kids are not that tan .. that would be spaghetti sauce .. look at Brooke forehead compare to the rest of her body. It's a new form of body art.

Scott and I went 80's Birthday party. What you can't see in the picture is our nice tight rolled jeans and Reebok's. Plus our gold chains with jelly brackets... it was so fun to remember back to the oldies..

A Trip to Boca

Last weekend Scott worked the golf Tournament down in Boca Raton.. so we decided to join him. While Scott worked the kids and I explored the area. We found Del Ray beach was the full of playgrounds! Brooke and Parker had so much fun. They are finally getting to the age where the playground keeps them entertain but mama on her toes as they both want to go in different directions. The highlight at the playground would have to be the swings as I think they could sit in them for hours. We also found a kids science muesum .. with all kinds of activites for their age. They loved it! We were all looking forward to going to the beach but the minute we got there on Saturday it started to rain.. so we headed to an early dinner instead. After dinner went on a late night walk on the beach... they loved running their feet through the sand. It was a nice trip to get away for the weekend.

Strike a Pose

A couple Saturday's ago, we took the kids to Azalea Park on Lake Maitland and had some professional picture take of them. I remember getting pictures there with my sister Dana when I was young, so it was cool to take my kids to the same place. It was a very mystical morning, with a heavy fog that didn't lift until we were finished. The photographer's name was Sarah Bray and she did a great job! She is just getting her business up and running, so email one of us if you would like her contact info.
